We monitor our appointment requests several times a day and will usually reply within one business day during open hours.
First Visit
Your initial appointment will consist of a New Patient Exam explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. This exam will consist of a comprehensive oral examination including; a soft tissue oral cancer screening, TMJ evaluation, bite analysis, and a thorough review of all your teeth, restorations and any prostheses you may have. Occasionally, some treatment can be performed the same day as the New Patient Exam. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your New Patient Exam:
- A list of your current medical prescriptions
- If you have dental insurance, bring your plan’s information book that outlines the details of your coverage. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.
- Any current X-ray films (within the last year) that may assist in our diagnosis.
- Complete the New Patient Registration portion of our website prior to your visit.
IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the initial visit.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.)
X-Rays
If your previous dentist has taken x-rays within the last year, you may request that they forward them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they will be taken at our office.
