Meet Dr. Mick Unsell

Dr. Unsell, his wife, and two children reside in Lee's Summit, MO.

Dr. Unsell earned his D.D.S. degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 1988. Afterwards, he joined the U.S. Navy Dental Corps providing dental services to members of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps. After 6 years of service as a general dentist, Dr. Unsell was selected for advanced training in endodontics at the National Naval Dental Center in Bethesda, MD. In 1996, he received his certificate in endodontics from the Naval Postgraduate Dental School and a Masters Degree in Health Sciences from The George Washington University. In 2000, Dr. Unsell completed a rigorous three-part examination, and was Board certified by the American Board of Endodontics. Longing to be closer to home, Dr. Unsell completed his 12 years of honorable active duty Naval service, and opened a private practice in Lee's Summit, MO.

Dr. Unsell is a member of the Greater Kansas City Dental Society, Missouri Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics. With over 10 years of experience, Dr. Unsell has presented numerous lectures to local, state, and national dental meetings.
